Enjoy this fantastic day with Alexandra your local bike instructor / guide. This day out can be done on an E-bike (or peddle if your feeling energetic!) with the most beautiful views over the Oisans valley. We start in the world famous village of Bourg D’Oisans, meeting at Bleach (our preferred bike shop). If you don’t have bikes this is where we will pick up your rental bikes!
Villard Notre Dame
We head across town towards the start of the mythical assent of Villard Notre Dame, passing through the tunnels, the woods and under the great cliffs of this magnificent valley.

The Views are something very special on this beautiful mountain road. Don’t forget your lights for the tunnels though! (Bleach can rent these to you if you don’t have any!).

Stop for a bite to eat and a well-deserved cold drink at Villard Notra Dame before continuing to Villard Reymond.

The next part is a track crossing the mountain with continuous views not only of the valley but also of Alpe d’Huez.

At the end of this track we arrive at the col du Solude. This is a wonderful place for a picnic if we haven’t treated ourselves to lunch in Villard Notre Dame.

The sleepy village of Villard Reymond is very pretty with lots of beautiful flowers and a fountain to fill our water bottles before heading down to La Palud.

At La Plaud we will leave the road and join a magnificent wooded track. Continue to descend towards Bourg d’Oisans. We will pass waterfalls and streams and arrive at La Paute.

From there, we will take the track back to Bourg Doisans for a well-deserved ice cream!
This is a full day out with over 1100m of ascent and 35km of riding.
It is essential to bring with you a camera, money for food and drinks and of course lights for the tunnels!

Alex has a passion for the mountains and the local area and will ensure you have a fun filled day! The goal is for everyone to finish the day grinning from ear to ear!
